Generative AI Policy

The International Journal of Emerging Knowledge Studies (IJEKS) acknowledges the potential benefits of using large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools to support authors in preparing manuscripts for submission. These tools may assist with idea generation, article structuring, summarization, paraphrasing, and language refinement.

However, it is important to recognize that LLMs have limitations. They cannot replace human creativity, critical thinking, or analytical reasoning. Human oversight is essential to ensure the accuracy, originality, and appropriateness of all content submitted for publication.

As part of its publication policy, IJEKS requires authors to clearly disclose any use of generative AI toolsβ€”such as LLMsβ€”in the relevant section of the journal’s manuscript template.

While the use of generative AI is not in itself grounds for desk rejection, all disclosures will be reviewed carefully by the Editorial Board. Final publication decisions will be based on the overall integrity and quality of the submission.
