PAPER SUBMISSION
- The corresponding author must submit the paper to the journal online via the link: https://ijeks.com/submission/.
- Upon submission, a paper ID will be assigned to the author.
- The author will receive further guidance via email and will be able to track the paper’s progress using the paper ID.
EDITORIAL BOARD
- The Editorial Board will check the manuscript for plagiarism, formatting, and compliance with the journal’s author guidelines. If the manuscript does not meet the required standards, it will be returned to the author for revision.
- The Editor-in-Chief will screen submitted papers to ensure they align with the journal’s focus and scope. Papers that do not meet the basic requirements will be rejected without further review.
- If the manuscript meets the submission guidelines, it will be assigned to a reviewer with relevant expertise. Reviewers have the authority to reject manuscripts deemed unlikely to pass peer review.
- All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure impartial evaluation.
- Manuscripts that meet the initial review are sent to two field experts for in-depth evaluation. Reviewers are unaware of each other’s identity.
- The reviewers will evaluate the manuscript’s originality, clarity, and significance, providing detailed suggestions for improvement and making recommendations for acceptance, revision, or rejection.
- The final evaluation of the manuscript is based on key factors:
- Innovation: Does the manuscript offer new insights or contribute original ideas to the field?
- Quality: Is the paper well-structured, logically presented, and free of grammatical errors?
- Relevance: Does the research have broad applicability, addressing issues of significance to the readership?
DECISION OUTCOMES
There are four possible outcomes:
- Accept: The manuscript meets all publication standards and is accepted for publication.
- Minor/Major Revisions: The manuscript requires further revision to meet all standards.
- Reject with Resubmission Option: The manuscript requires substantial revision to address critical shortcomings.
- Reject: The manuscript does not meet key standards, and it is unlikely that revisions can address these issues.
CONFIRMATION OF DECISION AND COMMUNICATION WITH AUTHORS
All decisions are confirmed by the Editor-in-Chief before being communicated to the authors. A decision email, along with anonymized reviewer comments, will be sent to the corresponding author.
Manuscripts requiring revision will be returned to the author for modifications.
If the paper is accepted, it will be published rapidly. The author will receive an acceptance email and must submit a signed copyright form. The paper will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license within one week of receiving all necessary documents. Copyright for commercial and associated uses will remain with the publisher.
